U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Check out this screen capture from the NBC Olympics website.

I think it's safe to say that NBC and Coca-Cola are more than just a little biased toward the good ol' US of A when it comes to coverage of the Olympics.

I mean ... wow.

Yeah.. I guess it is a BIT skewed.

Are you accusing NBC of something less than full journalistic integrity? May it never be. After all, they had no choice but to shove hours of Michelle Kwan and Bode Miller down our throats until they both choked.

Have I mentioned that Chad is a close second behind my beloved Josh Hartnett on my hot celebrity list? Hotness.

The world of sports journalism is an interesting place. This is the one area of journalism where it is widely accepting and actually encouraged to be biased. No one expects an American news organization to give equal coverage and support to the Slovakian team. Just watch any sports cast on tv or listen to any sports report on the radio. Hometown team always gets the promotion. That's the way we like it.

It's the same here in Canada...CTV shows Canadians...

I watched the Canadians curl last night.

Laurie ... I'm sure that's true. And, it's all good in my book. But to juxtapose those two pictures? I'm not sure how the Swedes define "good looks" but that almost seems libelous ... and outright cruel!
