Yesterday, I saw my first bluebonnets of the season in Memorial Park. At the risk of somebody referring to me as the "Real Men Of Genius" ad's "Too Proud of Texas Guy," let me lead us all in our national anthem.

We sing our state song for one full month each school year during the morning announcements. I think it's great because it means children actually learn it!
